Glasgow Labour Council of shame paying out £128,000 each to 100 managers who are leaving, Glaswegians lined up for bad services and price hikes

Dear All

The Labour Council of shame is shedding more than 100 managers at Glasgow City Council.

This is part of their redundancy plan to cut costs so rather than generate money they have taken the easy option of getting rid of people.

If you’re not bright then this is the way to go because it is quick and requires little thought.

So each of the 100 or so who are walking out aren’t going short by any means, they leave with £128,000 in their pockets.

£128,000 of your money which soon will be their money!

This is part of a wider redundancy plan which the Labour Council of shame has earmarked £127m.

2600 workers have applied for voluntary redundancy or early retirement which will reduce the 35,000-strong workforce.

In order to do this council property has been remortgaged and that money will need to be re paid by the citizens of Glasgow.

This means the citizens of Glasgow get a double whammy, worse services and possible council tax rises.

Gordon ‘free dinners’ Matheson, leader of the Labour Council of shame is fast making a name for himself as the ‘butcher of Glasgow’, it seems he wasn’t content with being the ‘Prince of Pie’.

So far, Matheson who isn’t Glaswegian but is from Port Glasgow has called for a council tax rise and an end to free personal care.

Add to that he was increased fees for school breakfasts and scrapped free fruit schemes for the city’s children.

Whether you are young or old; Gordon ‘free dinners’ Matheson is going to make your quality of life worse.

Glasgow Labour Party in action.

Labour Councillor of shame Paul Rooney, the council’s executive member for personnel and governance, said:

“We simply cannot sustain the number of staff we have.”

This begs the question of why they were employed in the first place.

The savage cuts are a result of the British Labour Party not regulating the banks properly and drive the economy into the ground, greedy bankers got bailed out and the people suffered.

Now, the Glasgow Labour Party is going for the double poorer services and price hikes.

I wonder how many of the 100 senior managers are connected to the Labour Party by either membership or by other connections.

One thing we do know as a fact, they are £128,000 better off.

Glasgow Labour protecting the rich at the expense of the poor.

Yours sincerely
